Guidance for coaches.

Confidence for parents.

Ambassadors Light is our affiliate program for younger teams across the country -bringing the development principles, education, and structure of our advanced programs to players ages 9 through 12.

Why Ambassadors Light

PREPARATION

STARTS Long Before 13U.

At Ambassadors Baseball, we intentionally do not form official teams until the 13U level. That’s when the game truly changes — the field gets bigger, the competition intensifies, and players with serious aspirations begin a more focused path.

But preparation for that journey starts much earlier. The right guidance — as early as 9 years old — can dramatically impact a player’s long-term growth, confidence, and understanding of the game.

Unfortunately, many young athletes spend these critical years focused on the wrong priorities, without clear direction. That’s why we created Ambassadors Light.

Help young athletes focus on what truly matters — while avoiding the distractions that slow development.

REAL QUESTIONS, real answers.

Pricing, mentorship, the V.T.S., Cooperstown tryouts, the role of coaches and parents — everything you need to know to decide if Ambassadors Light is the right fit for your team.

CAN ANY TEAM BECOME AN AMBASSADORS LIGHT AFFILIATE?

No. Only teams that meet our qualification standards are eligible. We partner with teams committed to player development, open to guidance, and willing to implement the principles that set our program apart — so every team and every player gets the full benefit.

WHAT IS THE VIDEO TRAINIG SERIES(V.T.S.)?

A comprehensive library of expert instruction covering skill development, strategy, and mindset. It gives players, coaches, and parents access to the same development methods used in our 13U and older programs.

WHO IS THE V.T.S. DESIGNED FOR?

The program includes tailored content for players (skill development and game understanding), coaches (how to implement our training standards), and parents (clarity on what truly matters in development).

WHAT ARE THYE HELMET STICKERS AND ARM PATCHED FOR?

Each player receives an Ambassadors Baseball helmet sticker and arm patch — markers of their connection to the program and a sense of pride, identity, and belonging within a larger development community.

DO TEAMS CHANGE THEIR NAME OR UNIFORMS?

No. Teams maintain their own identity. The program enhances what you already do — it doesn’t replace it. The patches and stickers simply signal your connection to the program.

DO PLAYERS HAVE AN ADVANTAGE WHEN TRYING OUT GOT 13U TEAMS?

Yes. Players already understand our expectations, training methods, and philosophy — giving them a clear head start when transitioning to 13U.

WHAT ARE THE QUALIFICATIONS TO BECOME AN AFFILIATE?

Coaches must commit to our development standards by leading their team according to our proven principles. Teams also pay a per-player fee, which provides access to our resources, training, and support.

WHAT DOES THE PROGRAM COST?

The program costs $100 per player per year. This includes access to the V.T.S., patches, stickers, devotionals, monthly ministry content, and ongoing guidance.

HOW IS THE FEE PAID?

The fee is paid by the coach at enrollment. There is a 10-player minimum per team.

HOW DOES THE COOPERSTOWN TRYOUT PROCESS WORK?

All 11U and 12U players in Ambassadors Light are eligible to try out at our annual conventions in Florida and Arizona each March. These events provide exposure, instruction, and an opportunity to earn a roster spot.

WHAT IS THE COOPERSTOWN NATIONAL TEAM?

A team of selected players from across the country who compete at Dreams Park in Cooperstown, NY — one of the premier youth baseball experiences in the nation.

CAN DADS COACH AMBASSADORS LIGHT TEAM?

Yes. We welcome dads and parents who are committed to learning and following our development model. It’s a great opportunity to be directly involved while providing the right structure for players.

DO COACHES RECEIVE TRAINING?

Yes. Coaches receive ongoing guidance, resources, and access to proven systems used at higher levels — equipping them to lead effectively and consistently.

WHAT IS THE MENTORSHIP PROGRAM?

Our mentorship program connects younger players with older Ambassadors athletes who provide guidance, encouragement, and leadership both on and off the field.

HOW DO MENTORS PARTICIPATE, AND WHAT ARE EXPECTATIONS?

Older Ambassadors players volunteer to mentor younger athletes. Mentors lead by example, support development, encourage strong character, and help build confidence.

DO PARENTS RECEIVE ANY DISCOUNTS?

Yes. Parents receive 50% off the Ambassadors Elite Parent Training Course and 10% off consulting services from The Ambassadors Group.

DO COACHES AND PLAYERS RECEIVE A DEVOTIONAL?

Yes. Every coach and player receives a Jesus Calling devotional. We believe developing character and faith is just as important as developing baseball skills — and this resource helps reinforce both, on and off the field.

DO PARTICIPANTS HAVE ACCESS TO THE AMBASSADORS MINISTRY?

Yes. Players, coaches, and parents all have access to ministry resources that support spiritual growth alongside athletic development.

IS THE PROGRAM FAITH-BASED?

DO PLAYER HAVE TO BE CRISTIAN TO PARTICIPATE?

No. Players of all backgrounds are welcome. While our program includes faith-based elements, every player can benefit from the training, structure, and development we provide.

FOR PARENTS

THE QUESTIONS YOU'RE actually asking.

Most players don’t fall short because of effort — they fall short because of direction. Here’s how we think about the questions parents ask before they ever fill out a form.

“Is my child too young to be thinking about this?”

Direction, not pressure.

Ambassadors Light helps young players focus on the right things early, so they don’t waste years chasing the wrong priorities. It’s not about doing more — it’s about doing what actually matters.

“Is this going to take the fun out of the game?”

It usually does the opposite.

When players improve, understand the game, and feel confident, they enjoy it more. We don’t add pressure — we remove confusion.

“What if our coach isn’t highly experienced?”

That’s exactly why this exists.

Ambassadors Light gives coaches a clear system to follow, so players don’t suffer from guesswork or inconsistency. It levels the playing field for teams that want to do things the right way.

“We already have a team — why would we need this?”

Most teams are missing structure.

Talent alone isn’t enough. Without the right development plan, players plateau. This program gives your team a proven roadmap, not just more reps.

“Is this just more training content we won’t use?”

Guided implementation, not random drills.

Everything in Ambassadors Light is designed to be practical, focused, and aligned with long-term development. It’s not about more information — it’s about better direction.

“How is this different from private lessons or clinics?”

Lessons give moments. This gives a system.

Private instruction can help, but without a clear plan, progress is inconsistent. Ambassadors Light connects skills, mindset, and development into one unified approach.

“Is it really worth it for $100?”

Worth far more than the cost.

If it saves even one year of wasted development, it’s worth far more. Most families spend thousands chasing improvement without clarity — this program gives you a roadmap at a fraction of the cost.

“What if we try it and it’s not a fit?”

You’ll still walk away with clarity.

Even a short experience helps players, parents, and coaches better understand what truly matters in development — and what doesn’t.

THE EARLIER THE FOUNDATION ,

the greater the future.

The most important years of development are often the most overlooked. Ambassadors Light exists to help young players build the right habits, mindset, and direction before the game truly accelerates at the 13U level.

“Most players don’t fall short because of effort — they fall short because of

direction.”
